Playlist for the week

I'm trying something a little bit different here.  Since I did well with writing prompts, I've discovered some daily writing prompts and I'm going to try and see if that will help me get through this block I sometimes have.  We'll see where it takes me, but the one I checked on today gave me some good material to work with for the first day, so I'm going to try it.

Sometimes, you just need music to help you get through the day.  5 song titles that pretty much typify my past week would be the following:

Pressure - by Billy Joel

Under Pressure - by Queen and David Bowie

Help! - by the Beatles

Deadlines - by Arkells

Don't Stop Believin' - by Journey

Sometimes, it's just so much fun being the multi-media instructor at school.  I was on my high school yearbook when I was a senior in high school.  Deadlines look a lot different from the instructor's point of view.  The respect I've always had for my yearbook teacher, Mrs. Denise Tate, has just been ratcheted up several more notches.

  1. Music is a great way to make the day go... though I have to be honest... Podcasts are helping me! :D

Good set of songs you have there.

And Paul, as for prompts and such, there are some great other challenges out there (writing and photo). I'm going to try and get into a couple because it does help when there are some things pushing you, that's for sure.

    1. Thanks P.J. I found a site that I think I'll utilize from time to time.

  2. I'm checking out that writing prompt link too. I once thought I should make up my own list and stick to it like I would with a challenge, but there is no accountability that way. I used to do Magpie Tales (their link is on my sidebar). It is a picture prompt site, and I have to "feel it to write about it".

    1. Well, as you can see, I haven't used the prompt every day. I had the Chill Challenge prompts to keep me busy during January, but I wanted something else to fall back upon once that was done, so I went searching around for something else. I doubt I'll ever write every single day unless I'm totally retired, but having those prompts there does help.

A couple I took one way and then when I clicked on them, they became something else entirely. You really can take them several different ways.
